Tony Dixon's story isn't about trophies. It's about transformation: what happens when a man stops performing for the mirror and starts living from purpose.
Tony was born and raised in Reform, Alabama, a small town that taught him big lessons about faith, family, and hard work. Those roots carried him to the University of Alabama, where he graduated in just three years, and onto the national stage when the Dallas Cowboys selected him in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft.
After football, Tony built a corporate leadership career spanning more than seventeen years, leading teams, strategy, and large-scale impact work at PepsiCo and beyond.
From the outside, Tony had everything: the career, the accolades, the accomplishments. But behind the glass, he was navigating grief, depression, and seasons of deep personal adversity. Loss visited his life in ways that success couldn't shield him from.
Faith carried him through. And in the process of healing, Tony discovered the framework that now defines his life's work: Awareness: seeing clearly what was influencing his life. Acceptance: owning his reality without shame. Alignment: taking intentional action to live in agreement with his purpose and values.
That journey ultimately gave Tony a framework for understanding transformation: Awareness. Acceptance. Alignment. What began as a personal process of confronting his own life now shapes his writing, speaking, leadership work, The Alignment Experience™, and the conversations he leads through Tony Dixon & Friends.
Tony's commitment to service also led him to establish the Tony Dixon Foundation, an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving young people and communities.
